Without shared context, two people can start the same task or unknowingly work from an outdated assumption.
Clipperz adds live collaboration to the Clip Planner Board. Authorized teammates in the same brand workspace can see who is present, follow named cursors, understand which card another person is viewing, and recognize an active-work block before starting an overlapping action. The Board remains the coordination layer for the video pipeline; detailed clip editing still happens in the editor.

Open the same brand workspace and confirm the live connection
Ask each teammate to open Clip Planner and select the same brand workspace. The collaboration status should move from Connecting to Live collaboration. The nearby presence count confirms how many teammates are currently connected to that workspace.
Pause here before dividing the work. If the interface says Reconnecting, Offline, or Collaboration unavailable, the Board still shows durable project data, but cursor and activity awareness may be delayed. Wait for Live collaboration before relying on the presence count to coordinate simultaneous work.
Use the named cursor to understand a teammate’s focus
As a teammate moves across the Board, their name travels with the cursor. This lightweight signal is useful during a review call: one person can point to a candidate clip, a stage, or a priority without repeatedly describing its position.
A card can also show that a teammate is viewing it. Treat that message as awareness rather than ownership. It tells you where attention is concentrated while leaving the rest of the Board available for independent review and planning.
Read the Live block before working on the same card
Opening card details or beginning supported card work creates a colored Live block for other teammates. The block includes the person’s name and a plain-language activity such as reviewing details, writing a comment, editing the schedule, or saving changes.
Use that information to choose a different card or wait for the action to finish. The block is deliberately specific: it communicates what is happening now instead of implying that the card is permanently assigned or unavailable.
Let conflict feedback prevent overlapping work
If you try to begin work on a card that already has an active teammate block, Clipperz displays Live edit protected feedback. The message identifies the current activity so you can make an informed choice instead of discovering a collision after both people have finished.
This protection does not turn the Board into a silent dead end. You receive visible feedback immediately, and an already-open detail view can remain useful for read-only review while the active teammate completes their action.
Finish the action and confirm that the block clears
When the active teammate closes the details, finishes the action, leaves the Board, or disconnects, the temporary work block clears. Other connected teammates can then continue on the card without refreshing the page.
The collaboration state is intentionally temporary. If a browser closes unexpectedly, stale work does not remain locked forever. The status can also move through Reconnecting and return to Live collaboration, giving the team visible feedback instead of hiding a connection change.
A practical division of work for a clip team
Use the Board to divide responsibility before anyone enters the editor. One teammate can review new ideas, another can inspect clips already in production, and a third can prepare scheduled items. Presence and active-work signals reduce accidental duplication without forcing the team into a rigid handoff ceremony.
When a clip needs detailed changes, open it in the editor and complete captions, framing, B-roll, audio, or video inserts there. Return to the Board for pipeline coordination. This separation keeps the collaboration claim precise: the Board shows live team activity, while the editor remains the place for hands-on clip construction and review.
